JSC

JUNIOR SCHOOL COUNCIL (JSC)

The JSC consists of students from Grades 1 to 6. One representative is elected from each of the grades 1 to 5 and two from each of the Grade 6s. The JSC meets on a regular basis to discuss any concerns from their classrooms and to discuss ideas for special days. These ideas are then taken back to their respective grades for the students to vote upon.

An important function of the JSC is also to co-ordinate fund raising activities throughout the year, such as "The Royal Children's Hospital Appeal",  “The Biggest Morning Tea”, “PJ Day” and “OXFAM”. The money raised from these events goes to the Cancer Society, the homeless, and various other charities. The money raised for OXFAM is used to purchase wells, goats, pigs etc for villages in developing countries.

A huge congratulations to the students who have been elected as Junior School Councillors for 2017.
